Hello, and thank you for looking at www.jackhoward.info.

I’ve practiced law here in Clark County for the past 33 years. During that time I’ve been a Special Prosecutor for the City of Las Vegas, a partner in a major law firm, owner of my own law firm, a long-time practitioner in family law, and I currently serve as Judge Pro Tem in the Boulder City Municipal Court.

That part of my career gives me the legal experience needed to be a Family Court Judge. But I believe a candidate should offer more than that. I have the judicial and administrative experience to run a fair and efficient court. I’ve served as an arbitrator in nearly 500 civil law suites. I’ve been an Alternate Hearing Master in Domestic Violence cases, a Child Support and Paternity Hearing Master Alternate, Juvenile Court Referee and Guardianship Alternate. I’ve served as a Judge Pro Tem in each of the four aspects of Family Court—Juvenile, Child Support, Temporary Protective Orders and Guardianship.

I know our community and the issues families face. I am a member of the Family Law Council, a former member of Family Counseling Service, former local president of Aid to Adoption of Special Kids for four years and a national board member for three additional years. I am the father of three children and a former foster parent as well. I’ve coached kids’ soccer, t-ball and floor hockey teams and never missed a single one of my sons’ Little League games.

I hope this website helps you come to know me better and why I honestly believe I can be the kind of Family Court judge you are proud to vote for.

I welcome your comments and hope you will check back often to see what’s new at www.jackhoward.info.

Thanks for your interest!

Sincerely,

Jack Howard
